Some places are visited just once usually as part of a specific quest and never encountered again. The player's campsite starts off as a fairly basic location but gradually evolves into a fairly complex community as the game progresses. These places are unlocked while exploring various landscapes and added to the "Places" menu once they have been found. After a character has discovered the lake, finding new locations is random and the character may encounter other beings instead. To discover each landscape the character must first have discovered the previous landscape. Once a location has been discovered, that location can be specifically explored and it will not be encountered again with the 'Explore' button.
Most landscapes are discovered with the 'Explore' button. This is a list of known locations in the land of Mareth. This insures all scripts start up for the area you want. It is best to coc to either a nearby area then walk run to where you want to go, or coc to an exterior and then use a regular door to enter. This can cause issues with quest triggers and the like. Also, coc does not start all scripts that should start up when you enter an area. It would be impossible to put together a list of coc commands that work for all because of all the mods out there.Ĭheers my friend. This is why the coc commands to a specific place work for some and not for others. If you have any mods that interfere with that exact spot, then it won't work. What I mean by that is, that if you coc riverwood times it will put you in the 'exact' spot outside riverwood every time. They don't send you to a place, but a specific spot.
